Festa de São João at Caboco

Which is why next Wednesday June 29th, Caboco invites Los Angeles for a Festa de São João celebration with a special menu that everyone will love, especially the kids.

Festa de São João Menu:

Appetizers

• Amendoim Cozido e torrado (toasted peanuts)
• Pipoca com torresmo e jiquitatia (popcorn with pork rinds and jiquitatia pepper, butter popcorn for kids option)
• Milho cozido (cooked corn)
• Dadinho de tapioca (tapioca and cheese squares)
• Pastel de vento e seus complementos - cogumelos, guacamole e queijo (pastel dough with mushrooms or guacamole or cheese)
• Paçoca de Carne de Sol - vinagrete de tomate feijão fradinho (corned beef stuffing with vinagrete and fradinho beans)

Main

• Quirera Vegana com legumes assados, cordeiro (vegan corn quirera with baked vegetables and lamb)

Kids (up to 12yo)

• Picadinho kids com arroz e farofa (beef stew with rice and stuffing)

Dessert

• Bolo de fuba com goiabada (corn bread with guava)
• Canjica / mungunzá Brûlée
