IN COLLABORATION WITH THE ACTUAL COUNTRY OF JAPAN 🇯🇵 🇳🇬

After 70 transformative days in Nigeria, Chef Tolu Eros is back on American soil to celebrate his homecoming and the new year with a seven-course storytelling and improvisational dining experience in collaboration with JFOODO (established by the government of Japan). Each dish is a chapter in an original tale of adventure, culture and resilience that Chef Eros calls "Amidst the Chaos."

17 SEATS
7 COURSES
AND 70 DAYS IN THE MAKING...

The centerpiece of the experience: Japanese Wagyu. Japan’s most coveted ingredient—beautifully marbled, rich in flavor and tradition, chosen as a medium to explore the mysterious ancient ties between Nigerians and the Japanese through cross cultural flavors, new interpretations of longstanding traditions and finding joy, community and transcendence amidst life’s biggest challenges.

On Saturday January 13th, Chef Eros opens up his private dining room in Hollywood for the first time since October for a new kind of story you have to hear (and taste) first hand.

CHEF TOLU EROS

Tolu Eros (@thebillionairechef) is the Executive Chef and founder of ILÉ PDR, acclaimed for his distinctive contributions to West African cuisine around the world. With a remarkable journey spanning from Nigeria to the UK, Eros has settled in Los Angeles to continue on his journey through ILÉ PDR, dedicated to elevating the cultural appreciation and status of West African cuisine.

WAGYU OF JAPAN

Japanese Wagyu refers to four breeds of Japanese cattle, stablished by cross-breeding native species from ancient Japan. Unlike any other livestock, Japanese Wagyu has a genetic predisposition to create the marbling of fat that’s integrated with the muscle. Wagyu is characterized by its tenderness and the unique, full-bodied, umami rich flavor. AYO WAGYU ILÉ  is a special collaboration with Chef Eros Tolu and House of Japanese Wagyu, a campaign by JFOODO  (Japan Food Product Overseas Promotion Center), established by the Government of Japan. House of Japanese Wagyu aims to spread the love, appreciation and knowledge of Japanese Wagyu in the US.
