Two friends, Jonathan Harris and Anthony Arias, have a lot in common: they both have roots in NYC, their Hollywood restaurants practically share a wall, and they're both fiends for Chef Jon's Smoked Jerk Duck Leg, a favorite among regulars at Linden, not to mention Anthony's iconic Chopped Cheeses.
Together, the two traveled next door to recreate that magic of the dish in sandwich form so that people could enjoy it in a whole new way.

After relocating from Harlem in 2020, he embraced his passion for this beloved sandwich, opening two locations to share the rich culture of NYC with a new audience. Arias’s mission to spread the "chopped cheese gospel" reflects his excitement for introducing Angelenos to this hearty, flavorful dish that has become a staple of New York street food.
Chef Jonathan Harris’s culinary artistry is a vibrant celebration of his Costa Rican and African-American heritage. Growing up in a family of chefs, he developed a deep love for cooking that flourished on New York’s Linden Boulevard, where the multicultural tapestry inspired his unique dishes.
