Every superhero has their origin story. In 2015, when AM Smash was just a twinkle in Stefanie and Chris' eye, they entered to compete in the Grilled Cheese Academy Recipe Showdown, a nationwide contest to decisively name the country's least dainty, most decadent, deluxe, downright delicious grilled cheese.
The competition was fierce with nearly 2,000 entries, and the judges weren't pulling any punches. Stef and Chris knew they had to bring their A-game. Inspired by their favorite game day eats, their grilled cheese was a riff on wings from their favorite sports bar. They went on to win the top honors, taking home a $15,000 prize.
Next Saturday May 7th, AM Smash is taking their talents to the lunch hour with our friends at JuneShine to serve this award-winning grilled cheese masterpiece for ONE. DAY. ONLY.

Every sandwich comes with a first taste of the NEW, soon to be released Diplo JuneShine flavor. We don't want to give too much away, but we've been told it's like sipping your favorite blended drink poolside on vacay.
