Sale price Price $80.00 Regular price Unit price  per

Malli consistently breaks boundaries with their Mexican-Jewish inspired cross over cuisine. Chef Heitner and Chef Silva have quickly built a reputation for putting out delicious food as beautiful as it is inventive, in a short time developing a nationwide following as one of the breakout stars of the indie culinary scene.

After coming to fame as a resident act at Melody Wine Bar in Virgil Village, they took their show on the road, first to NYC where from Chef Heitner is from originally, then to SF. Finally, they return to LA to a venue with the gravitas to match the occasion: Wexler's Grand Central Market. Seated at the Wexler’s counter, this special homecoming menu is a greatest hits of their nationwide tour: some new dishes, some classics, but all beautiful, inventive, and delicious.

Malli Bio:
Created by chefs and partners Elizabeth Heitner & Nestor Silva, Malli is a Mexican inspired Jewish pop up in Los Angeles, that pays homage to their roots and their love. Malli is an unexpected yet beautiful marriage of two cultures in the kitchen. The romance between Jewish & Mexican traditions passed down by generations before them. Two tales— and tables— coming together, allowing Heitner and Silva to create a menu that elegantly balances their shared traditions with unique departures. Their pastrami taco was lauded in the LA Times by Jenn Harris, and voted one of the “Best Dishes in Los Angeles in 2021” by Time Out Magazine.
