Friendsgiving Asado at Fuegos
Step into Max & Fede's world: warm, generous, quirky, spontaneous, deeply rooted in where they come from and, well, very pink.
On Thursday, November 19, Fuegos sets a long table: a live fire, al fresco Argentinian Asado. Expect passed bites and vermouth on arrival, provoleta, salads, fire-roasted pumpkin and vegetables, and cuts of prime Argentinian beef. To finish: wine, dessert, and a digestif (the details of which we'll leave to the imagination).
Before opening Fuegos LA with his partner, Max, Fede worked behind the scenes in design and creative production. Most recently he helped design one of the biggest stages in the world: The Bad Bunny's Super Bowl casita. NBD.
In Argentina, asado is less a meal than a reason to gather. Its roots trace back to the gauchos of the open campo, who made a feast out of fire, meat, and a few simple things. Bring your people together and don't rush.
While the fire does its thing, Guillermo Marigliano will be playing live jazz from the open kitchen. And because it wouldn't quite be a Fuegos party without it, the evening will roll into tango, should you choose to stay. Beginners welcome.
