Only in LA do you stumble into a front yard that doubles as a tiny, 14-seat farm-to-table Italian gastronomia run by two people who met on a hike in Joshua Tree.

Rinaldo & Inga — a former finance manager and a physical therapist — never planned to start a foods company together, but here they are: deep in a loving, occasionally chaotic journey built on the belief that food is more than nourishment. It’s connection. It’s joy. It’s the thing that brings people back to themselves and to each other.

They grow their own vegetables, cook shoulder-to-shoulder, and their whole approach is just… honest. Nothing forced, nothing fussy — just two people channeling the Piedmont and Liguria summers that shaped Rinaldo into food that feels grounded and generous. Their round 14-seat table has a way of pulling you into its orbit; before you know it, hours have passed, and you walk away feeling nourished, refreshed, and carrying a quiet, inspired buzz.

Quanto Basta is the vision of Rinaldo Villani and Inga, a couple who turned a childhood memory of Ligurian flatbread into a full-blown culinary adventure. Rooted in the flavors of Piedmont and Liguria, Rinaldo obsessively recreates traditional Northern Italian recipes — from trofie al pesto to Tajarin all Salvia — using fresh, locally grown vegetables from their Santa Paula farm.

Their Echo Park home doubles as a 14-seat dining table where small groups experience intimate, multi-course meals, while their gastronomía offers artisanal prepared foods and specialty ingredients to-go.
