EXPERIENCE LA’S MID-CITY FARM IN FULL SPRING GLOW

We still can’t believe a place like this exists in the middle of Los Angeles. Thanks to Vivi, we get to experience it together at the start of spring.

Little City Farm is a family-run organic farm tucked into Mid-City LA, with chickens roaming the grounds, herbs growing nearby, and a large family-style table set right in the middle of it all.

You’ll arrive to the farm in the morning light, grab a cup from Vivi’s coffee bar, and wander the grounds before sitting down to a thoughtful brunch that celebrates the season, the farmers who grow our food, and the pleasure of gathering around the table.

Vilda and Taren first connected through the magic of an online algorithm that brought like-minded chefs together, eventually leading to a week-long blind date in Charleston, South Carolina. They cooked together, visited rice farms, stretched mozzarella, and discovered a shared passion for ingredients grown with care and food made with intention. That friendship and shared approach to cooking sits at the heart of this brunch.


HOW IT WORKS

Two menus will be offered, each featuring three items (two savory, one sweet).

Dining solo? One menu will be perfectly satisfying.
Dining together? Order both menus to taste the full spread.

Expect a decadent and nourishing menu of daytime delights, featuring meticulously sourced and intentionally prepared ingredients inspired by the first flush of Spring produce and the farmers that make it all possible. There will be beans, waffles, greens, and more!

Vivi’s NAD+ coffee bar will be flowing with signature bevys that have the Taren and Vilda touch. All dishes are gluten and refined sugar free. Because the menus are fixed, we cannot guarantee accommodations for other dietary restrictions.


VILDA GONZALEZ

Vilda Gonzalez is a chef and recipe developer. Her work takes many forms, from cooking private dinners, to feeding big groups on retreat, developing recipes, teaching cooking classes, and advocating for more sustainable food systems. She believes that food can be delicious, flavorful, and indulgent, as well as nourishing and inherently healthful. Her mission is to rewire our collective relationship to what eating well truly means, through the lens of seasonality, sensuality, and storytelling. 


TAREN COULTER

Taren Coulter is a Los Angeles native chef whose work celebrates the intersection of nourishment, flavor, and tradition. Drawing from her background in fine dining and nutrition, she builds menus around meticulously sourced ingredients that honor both nature and pleasure. Taren has been cooking in the private industry for nearly a decade.


VIVI LABS

Vivi Labs is a longevity-focused coffee designed to support healthy aging from the inside out. Each cup is crafted with functional ingredients like collagen and NAD+ support to promote energy, cellular health, and glowing skin, without compromising on taste.
