Meet the Ciaramitaro Sisters of San Pedro. Rambunctious. Deeply opinionated. Ridiculously warm. Cannoli makers, pasta rollers, bingo regulars, and famous for their chops in the kitchen. 

On March 8, they’re stepping into De La Nonna for a rare Sunday Supper, and we’re letting them take the lead. This night is about the women who cooked these dishes long before anyone thought to write them down or put them on a menu.

The table will center around their signature recipes (arancini, fresh pasta, and cannolis), cooked the way they always have been, with a few De La Nonna dishes rounding things out so no one leaves hungry.

Expect a generous splash of wine, good table energy, and that cozy, chaotic feeling of being welcomed into someone’s family dinner.

THE OCCASION: ITALY'S WOMENS' DAY. 

La Festa della Donna is Italy’s day for celebrating women, traditionally marked with mimosa flowers, a small, bright symbol of strength, resilience, and care. It felt like the right moment to gather around the women who are the backbone of Italian cuisine.

To close the night, we’ll be serving mimosa cake, made just for the evening by Ceci’s Gastronomia. Bring your girlfriends, your sisters, you mamas. It’s going to be special.
