The 4th of July on A Pie - Limited-Edition BBQ Brisket Pizza

Every fourth of July has a few basic necessities. A trip to the beach. Fireworks. Sunshine and friends. And of course, BBQ.

This year, celebrate summer the Speak Cheezy way with their new collab with LA’s Andrew Munoz of Moo’s Craft BBQ for a limited-edition, BBQ Brisket Pizza.

This pie deconstructs the classic brisket platter, featuring Munoz’s signature Angelino-Texas style smoked brisket. Each 10’ pizza (serves 1-2) is loaded with classic Moo’s Craft BBQ brisket, dusted in Parmesan Reggiano, with smoked ricotta, house-pulled mozzarella, and crinkle-cut pickles, and drizzled in a Moo’s BBQ sauce reduction and pickled mustard seeds for a tangy finish. The chewy, crispy sourdough pie is fired in their OG 800-degree wood-burning oven for a beautiful, leoparded crust.

The pop-up sensation Speak Cheezy pizza van is going to be at Deus in Venice and firing pies on the spot in their mobile ovens. Bring it to a party, bring it to the beach, or just pull up and enjoy on the patio. Either way, you’ll have a 4th of July feast with these iconic summer flavors.
